Course Description

The course begins by introducing you to windows 10, explaining the general content of the course, including its usefulness for beginners and people who are familiar with earlier versions of windows. You will be introduced to simple ways of identifying the windows version running on your personal computer. You will learn about the system requirements for running windows 10. You will also learn how to acquire windows 10 on your computer.    

The course then takes you through the windows 10 desktop and start menu. You will learn about options for working in tablet mode in windows 10, and options for working in multiple different windows. You will learn how to run windows and desktop programs. You will also learn about the differences between applications and desktop programs in a windows environment. 

The course then explains the structure and organization of the storage in a windows environment. You will learn how to use tools to access what is stored on the computer. You will learn about the file explorer ribbon and how to navigate files and folders. You will also learn about the different types of accounts in windows 10.
